언젠가부터, 근무중에 항상 헬멧을 쓰는 버릇이 생겼다. 사장님(이현우, 650817-182716)이 던지는 재떨이에 맞아도 안전하고 무엇보다 언젠가 천장의 석고보드나 형광등이 갑자기 떨어질지도 모른다는 불안감에서 자유로울 수 있다. 나는 건설현장에서 안전모를 착용하지 않는 이들을 절대 이해할 수 없다. 답답하지 않냐고들 물어오지만. 사실 스쿠버다이빙 장비를 착용하고 있어도 익숙해지고 길들여져 일상이 되면, 문제는 없다. *사회는 바다와 같다. 헤엄칠 줄 모르는 놈은 빠져죽기 마련이다. 연회(宴會)에서와 마찬가지로 인생에서도 과음하지 말고, 목이 마르지 않는 동안에 사라지는 게 제일 좋은 것이다. 하지만 그러지 못하여 헬멧을 쓴다. 나는..
